Ric OcasekBorn: March 23, 1949 Baltimore, MD, USA | |
Ric Ocasek was the leader of the highly successful late 70’s sensation the Cars. But, when the Cars disbanded in the mid-80’s after 6 albums, Ocasek turned to production, and has enjoyed success ever since. In 1994, he produced Weezer’s self-titled “Weezer,” as well as successful albums by D Generation and other bands. Ocasek remains in the music business as a producer, although all attempts at a solo career have failed.
