Ric Ocasek was the leader of the highly successful late 70’s sensation the Cars. But, when the Cars disbanded in the mid-80’s after 6 albums, Ocasek turned to production, and has enjoyed success ever since. Ocasek remains in the music business as a producer, although all attempts at a solo career have failed.
