Worcester, Worcs., England

While in high school, Dave became interested in the hard rock that was coming out of England. He started the band Traffic when he was still just 18, and he began writing songs. He wrote the popular “Feelin’ Alright,” which has been performed by over 300 artists. Mason left Traffic in 1969 and moved to America to start a solo career. He released three solo records of Sony, all which achieved gold record status. Mason has also contributed to many other artists’ albums, such as the Rolling Stones, George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, and Paul McCartney. In the 90’s, Dave was asked to join Fleetwood Mac for their world tour, and released Time with the band. In the new millennium, Mason formed a new solo band, and is touring as the Dave Mason Band. Their tour is taking them throughout America and Europe.
