Michael Britt

Michael Britt grew up in Texas, living in Fort Worth, Austin, and Waco before moving to Nashville in 1991. He formed Texassee with Dean Sams, Richie McDonald, John Rich, and Mike Tucker in 1992. The band later changed their name to Lonestar when they were signed by BNA Records in 1995. Michael currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife, Rene. They have two dogs, a cat, and a ferret... no kids yet.
