Danny began playing guitar after his older brother David began playing in 1979. They formed a garage band -Roxx - and played Aerosmith/AC-DC influenced somgs at their junior high (Slater in Santa Rosa) and Montomery high.
David went on to play with the Tearaways, an early incarnation of the Sea Hags, and eventually on to play in Vain.
