Soprano. Made her Metropolitan Opera debut on January 11, 1934 as Sieglinde in Die Walküre. Her success was triumphant. She was in demand all over America for concerts and recitals. Performed on Arturo Toscanini's first radio commercial broadcast (February 11, 1934, the "Cadillac Hour").
