A popular speed metal band that is partially responsible for the uprise of metal in the 80's, Anthrax has produced some of metal's standard albums. They also predicted the onslaught of metal-hiphop combos, and toured with Public Enemy in 1991. Comprised of Scott Ian, Belladonna, Bello, and Benante, they were and are a force to be reckoned with, as well as a group of guys with a good sense of humor.
