Joe Holmes was a private student of Randy Rhoads, a prerequisite that helped him get the attention of Ozzy Osbourne when a replacement for Zakk Wylde was needed. Mike Inez recommended him to Ozzy and after an audition he was hired as Ozzy’s guitar player. Joe was a member of the band Terriff from 1983 to 1988 and a member of Lizzy Bordon from 1989 to 1992.
